for individuals who have a permanent speech impairment or temporary impairments
leaving them unable to communicate. The communicator has an eight message
scanning capacity and will activate a nurses station or buzzer. Massager can
be recorded and re- recorded as often as you wish. Comes complete with a Sip
& Puff Switch with anti contamination filter and an adapted cord (to connect
into a nurse call box). Can accommodate any other capability switch.

Our Bulletin Board Communicator enables an individual with limited motor
skills to effectively communicate with others. Up to nine different pre-labeled
message boxes and an additional nurse call feature can be selected by simply
illuminating an easy- to-view red LED. The communicator can be controlled
by many capability switches, depending on the individual's motor skills. A
light starts flashing sequentially in the nine frames when the switch is activated.
When you reach the lighted frame of your choice, touch the switch again to
display the desired message. If sequencing is not possible, the unit has the
capability of allowing the user to advance the light one square at a time
with each switch closure. If the bottom light (10) is selected, a buzzer will
sound after 15 seconds. Plus, if a nurse call cord is connected to the communicator,
the central nurse station will be alerted. When the message is noted, the
unit can be reset by simply pushing a button. Comes with form fitting labels,
batteries and a sequential scanner speed control switch.
