The type of interface needed to connect a switch to a computer is dependant on the requirements of the software you intend to use.
The simplest way to connect your switch to a computer is via a switch adapted mouse. You plug your switch into the mouse and plug the mouse into the computer. Pressing the switch is the same as performing a left mouse click.
If your programs need something other than a left mouse click to operate - eg. a keyboard button press such as the enter key or the spacer bar. The switch can be connected via our X-Keys switch interface. This can be set up so that your switch can emulate any keyboard key.
Some programs require activation via a joystick (game port) button press. To access these programs you can use our Joy Port Cable.
Computers can be controlled using one of our many special
switches.
Switches such as:
head switches, foot switches;
touch switches or blow switches.
