These UV side-sparkle kits consist of cracked polymer fibres in UV reactive sheathing. Up to 8 different colours of tails can be incorporated into one harness.
Like all our fibre optic lighting products, these UV side-sparkle poly optics are completely safe to touch, as there is no electricity carried through the fibre tails. The effect provided by these kits is different to that given by the standard side-sparkle kits. The tails do not change colour, but by utilising the shimmer wheel which is supplied as standard, a stunning sparkling effect is achieved - even without the use of UV light.
Under Ultra Violet black light, which is increasingly being used in treatment and sensory play rooms in hospitals and schools, the tails also glow dramatically.
