FLEXI ADAPTOR (Play/Pause)

The Flexi Adaptor (Play/Pause) is a special version of our popular Flexi Adaptor that has been designed to work with click-on, click-off style devices such as the play/pause function of our Adapted CD player. The Flexi Adaptor (Play/Pause) can also be used in conjunction with a switch adapted mouse and computer to control the play/pause on windows media player or other software.

The Flexi Adaptor (Play/Pause) Timer Mode provides a variable response period that gives a preset 'on' time, even if the user only strikes the switch briefly. This is particularly helpful when establishing a cause and effect understanding, and for giving a longer 'reward' period for successful switch operation. The Flexi Adaptor connects between the user's switch and the equipment under control. It provides two special modes of operation: ·

Play/Pause Latch Mode.
When the switch is pressed, the Flexi output will pulse once to start the CD playing then, when the switch is released, the Flexi output will pulse again to pause the CD. ·

Play/Pause Timer Mode.
When the switch is pressed, the Flexi output will pulse once to start the CD playing then after an adjustable time period, the Flexi output will pulse again to pause the CD. Note that pressing the switch again during the timing period will also pause the CD.

The power consumption of the low power Flexi Adaptor is so low, the unit doesn't need an on/off switch!
