The Access Gewa PROG is a programmable IR transmitter adapted for persons with cognitive or motor problems and/or visual impairments. With the Access Gewa Prog it is possible to"learn" all functions from other IR transmitters (for TV, CD, video etc.) It is also easy to control many other functions that simplifies every day life for people with disabilities, e.g. talk on the phone, open the door or control the elevator.
The IR transmitter can be used with direct access or with scanning. Single or multiple switches can be used. The IR transmitter has 36 large keys where symbols can be attached. There are 205 programmable functions divided in 6 levels. One or several levels can be "opened" according to what the user needs. There is one channel for strict access control.
The Access Gewa Prog can send sequences (Macros), which means it is possible to reduce the number of "keystrokes" to perform a specific function. By pressing one key the transmitter will automatically perform a number of "keystrokes". It is possible to program the transmitter and make a backup file of the functions and settings using the utility software included. It is also possible to use the computer to create overlays for the keys. A number of PCS symbols are included in the program.
