SPINNING COMMUNICATOR
Just the slightest touch rotates the carousel allowing the most limited user
to communicate special needs. This easy access device works well in hospitals
or nursing homes with users who cannot access other communicators. It can
be used in the classroom to match objects with words or pictures. The 12 recordable
sectors allow for 18 seconds of recording time With this storage capacity
one might have songs or nursery rhymes recorded in the carousel. The doughnut-shaped
icon holders (supplied) can easily be changed with the turn of a screw. Size:

Available with 1 level or 6 levels of seven messages each. Record and re-record
messages at the push of a button (single level has 40 seconds of possible
recording time per switch and seven level unit has 4 seconds per activation).
The icon holders (frames) are attached to the unit with velcro so that the
user can quickly change the icons.

Communicate with textures!
Our new tactile communicator is a wonderful place to start communication. It has six levels for a total of 36 messages with 7 seconds per message.Around the outside are six plates with different large textures where you record and play back your messages. A large textured level changer is positioned in its center. It is mounted on a Lazy Susan so you can slowly turn the communicator to feel all of your choices before activating a message. Comes with a very minimal vibration which will help desensitize the user and has adjustable activation time (1-12 seconds) so you can feel the plates for the set time without activating the message.
