Switch Director
You want to use one switch to operate your voice output communicator as well
as open your front door. The Technical Solutions Switch Director will
send your switch pulses to the device you want to control. Two switch activated
devices of almost any type can be controlled with the switch director, contact
us for advice.
Modes Of Operation
This unit is controlled by a very small microprocessor and we
have developed operating programs to suit various situations.
- Plug your switch into the Switch Director.
- Plug output switch lead one into one of the devices that
you wish to control.
- Plug output switch lead two into the other device that
you wish to control.

Let Your Switch Control More Than One Device
Below is a typical operation.
(Other options are available)
- Switch presses of a short duration will activate the currently selected output.
- To change the selected output, press and hold the input switch until
the Switch Director beeps. (one beep to change to output one or two beeps to change to output two).
- Subsequent presses will
be directed to the other output.
Call Buzzer and ECU With One Switch
The Nurse Call Interface allows you to use just one switch to access an ECU (Environment Control Unit) as well as a Nurse Call system or other alarm. This unit is designed to interface between any one of our special switches and almost any nurse call system, call buzzer or duress alarm. Suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes, supported accommodation or private homes.

Switch Director - Radio Linked
Imagine you have a voice output communicator mounted on your wheelchair and you want to use one switch to operate your communicator as well
as open your front door. We can provide a Switch Director with one local output, plugged into the communicator, and one radio linked (cordless) output that can be used to remotely trigger your door opener.
This Switch Director can have a total of up to four outputs and it has a built in radio transmitter so that remote device/s can be operated via a Radio Link
