Our Switches are (often individually) designed to enable a person with a physical disability to operate an electrical appliance or device.

A child with a disability may use a switch to operate an adapted battery toy.

A person with a spinal injury may use a switch to control a light, a computer or some other device, as well as call for assistance from a support person.

Often the process of finding the best combination of equipment to suit a particular person's needs can be frustratingly slow. This can sometimes be exacerbated by the need to learn new skills - in order to use new equipment. However, once a person masters reliable switch activation and gains proficiency with the device they are controlling, the rewards can be great.

Switch Mounting:

The effectiveness of a switch is often dependant on the positioning and mounting of the switch. A poorly mounted switch can in some cases make it inaccessible or cause excessive strain for the user.
