The TS Phone is an affordable, fully approved single switch operated phone for Australian Users.

Technical Solutions' TS Phone provides affordable access to the telephone network for people with severe disabilities. The fully approved loud-speaking phone can be operated using a single switch to answer and initiate calls. (Switch purchased separately, see our switches including cordless switches for use from a wheelchair)

SINGLE SWITCH OPERATION

To Answer A Call:
Press your switch to answer a call and and press again to hang up.

What About Making Outgoing Calls?
TSPhone users can take advantage of the Telstra Delayed Hotline service to auto dial a single phone number. Delayed Hot-line will automatically connect you to a preset number 4 seconds after you press your switch.

Telstra Delayed Hotline can be preset to dial one of two operator based services that will connect you to the person you ask for. You must set the system up to use the service that best suits your needs.

Telstra Call Connect - will connect to any number listed in the White Pages phone directory.
National Relay Service - will connect to virtually any number and stay on line to assist with communication as required.

To Initiate A Call: Press your switch to obtain dial tone. Wait while Delayed Hot-line connects you to the operator. The operator can then assist with connection to the person you want to call. Finally press your switch again to hang up. And of course, the TS Phone can still be used in the conventional way as well.

The Phone Controller allows full control of the TS Phone - answer incoming calls and dial any phone number. The controller can also store up to 20 phone numbers for quick access.
A scanning infrared environmental control unit, such as a PROG, can access the TS Phone with the TS Phone controller.

The National Relay Service is a free Australia-wide telephone access service - only available to people with specific disabilities. Contact of the National Relay Service for more information
While Telstra normally charge a fee for the Delayed Hotline service and Call Connect service, Contact Telstra Disability Services to find out if you are eligible for an exemption
You need to apply to use the Telstra Delayed Hotline and National Relay Service if required
Technical Solutions CAN NOT set these services up for our customers - we can provide the phone and switch but the customer must organise any Services Provided by Others

Safety
Built in switch isolation means any momentary switch can be used. Micro switches, blow, touch or electronic proximity switches are all compatible with the phone, and can be used without additional approval or testing.
