Maths
Record the numbers 1 to 6 into the SPEAKING DICE. The teacher keeps a running
list of the total. As each student has his/her turn at spinning the dice,
they must calculate the new total, for the teacher to write down.
Spelling
Record six students names into the SPEAKING DICE. Students take it
in turns spinning the dice, and the student named does the next spelling
card from a pile.
Art
Record the colour of six paints into the SPEAKING DICE Each student takes
it in turn to spin the dice, and then adds to a communal painting using
that colour.
Easy Roll - Switch Adapted!
To roll the dice, simply shake it or plug in any of our Accessibility
Switches. The resulting randomly selected number is displayed with the red
lights as well as "spoken" by the dice.
PART No. TALKDICE
Invent your own games and record any messages
Set the unit to record mode and record your own messages for each of the six
numbers.
The talking dice has built in recording facilities, and the sound
track can be recorded and changed at any time.
In its simplest setup, the SPEAKING DICE speaks the number rolled,
as well as displaying it. The benefits for people with a visual disability
are obvious.
A range of games and educational activities can be devised using the SPEAKING DICE. Instead of numbers, the TALKING DICE could speak names of players, colours or actions.
